Inauguration Ceremony was held on February 5, 2020, for Accenture trainees at Don Bosco Tech (Raipur). The event was organized at the program hall of the Centre were fifty persons including forty-two students, trainers, parents as well as guests were present to witness this occasion.

The program commenced at 11:00 am by Fr. Benjamin Behara (Centre Head) by invoking the presence of God with the recitation of prayer along with trainees and trainers. Mr. Satyendra Kumar Sahu (Center Coordinator, Raipur), officially welcomed one and all specially the trainees to begin the training in its earnest.

The program was made colorful by a joint effort of trainees and staff members. The trainees, joyously decorated the event hall board, enthusiastically performed dance, sang melodious songs and recited poems, which captivated the attention of the audience.

Fr. Benjamin, welcomed the trainees to St. Vincent Technical Training Centre, encouraging them to make their stay and training at the centre a memorable one. He spoke about the life of Don Bosco and his love for the youth especially the marginalized ones. His emphasis was on keeping the rules and cleanliness saying ‘keep the rules and the rules will keep you, and cleanliness is next to godliness’.

Mr. Wakish Alam (State Coordinator, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand) was the chief guest of the day. He wonderfully explained the process of Don Bosco Tech’s skill training right from mobilization, training to placement. Encouraging the trainees, he said, “Grab the opportunity and make the best use of the wonderful chance you have received.”

The program then came to its closure at 2:00 pm by a vote of thanks followed by sumptuous lunch for all.
